Nearly a decade has passed since a man vanished from northeast Kansas.
Jay Flekier, then 58-years-old, was last seen on June 7, 2016, in Leawood. Records show that his mom was being laid to rest that day, and he did not attend the funeral. The Department of Justice case files note Jay seldom would travel far from his home. There’s concern for him because he’s without medication he takes daily.
News reports, at the time, show that he may be driving a black four-door 2009 Cadillac CTS with Kansas license tag 883BFH.
