More than a year has passed since a woman vanished from north-central Colorado, and her family is hoping to get answers as to what happened. Kaysey Yoder is a mom of four, and shew as last seen on Jan. 14, 2024. Around 4 p.m. that day, she walked away from the 36000 block of Appy road in unincorporated Weld County, Colo. Her husband reported her missing by the next day, the Weld County Sheriff’s Office shares. There have been searches for Kaysey, but, “Unfortunately, these investigative efforts have not uncovered where Kaysey went or where she is now, but no criminal act is suspected involving Kasey’s departure from home,” the WCSO shares as of last year.

Sadly, during this time, scammers have taken advantage of the family’s situation, and all they want is to finally get resolution.

BEFORE THE DISAPPEARANCE

Her friend, Anna Green, said Kaysey was suffering a mental health emergency the day before, but seemed to be doing better, she tells News Nation. Then, she went missing.

“Somebody knows something, I believe that with all my heart. Somebody out there knows something,” Green said. “I just really hope that they will find it in their heart to come forward, for not only Kaysey’s family but especially her kids.”

So what do they know? Kaysey took a change of clothes with her, but that bag, a pair of pants and her son’s cell phone were found at an intersection near her home.

Her bank account has been untouched, and her personal cell phone was never found, News Nation reports.

TURNING TO ADDITIONAL HELP

Private investigator Eryn Martinez has been looking into Kaysey’s disappearance, but nothing has turned up as they’ve checked hospitals, jails, psychiatric facilities and more. Kaysey’s husband also took a polygraph.

“He was the one that originally told me that he passed it,” Martinez said to NN. “But I’ve been able to have that confirmed by the investigative agency who did the polygraph.”

The fact that Kaysey hasn’t connected with family for months is concerning.

“After she went missing, no calls, no texts, just a little tiny amount of mobile data. It almost makes me think that the phone was maybe just turned on and then turned off again, really quickly,” Martinez said to NN. “It could have been something as simple as her weather app trying to connect and register the weather. I’m not 100% sure.”

A MOTHER’S PLEA

Kaysey’s mom, Tami Ruth, contacted me recently. She said it’s been a tough experience.

Since this all has taken place, the sheriff’s office has had about 50 tips of alleged sightings of Kaysey.

“Kaysey did not leave on her own accord. Not in a million years,” she tells me. “This has been foul play since it began. Somebody out there knows the truth. The truth will come out.”

A $1,300 reward is being offered in this case, Tami shared.

“It would be a miracle from the guy upstairs and just maybe from the people listening down here. Help bring Kaysey back home to her family,” she said.

Tami continues to push for more coverage of her daughter’s story. She hasn’t lost hope.

“She has been my rock. My go-to girl,” Tami said. “All I know is I will never quit looking for her. I need the public’s help.”

  1. $1,300 reward? If my daughter were missing I would come up with a lot more than that.
