Scott Alan Elvin was last seen on July 10, 2008.
The then 48-year-old withdrew money from his bank in Lindsborg, Kan., and disappeared, his federal case file shows. His vehicle, though, was found in Nevada that month
“Las Vegas Police Department reported finding Scott’s 2001 Ford Ranger pickup truck in the desert with him nowhere around it,” the case file says. “Scott’s next of kin, has not heard from him since July of 2008.”
His truck had a Kansas license plate tag 863AGX.
