Decades have passed, and the case of a missing north-central Kansas woman remains a mystery.

Today marks 32 years since Kathryn Adam was last seen.

Records show that she was last seen at 4:30 a.m. on April 29, 1993, at the Kwik Shop in the 1700 block of West Crawford Street in Salina, Kan. By 5:45 p.m. the next day, her van was found abandoned at Russel’s Restaurant in the 600 block of West Point Boulevard. The restaurant was closed for remodeling. Her fan was spattered with mud on the outside, and it was soaked with blood on the inside. In rare media interviews at that time, investigators let reporters take a closer look at how the vehicle was found, showcasing the condition the vehicle was found.

Blood was also found at a storage unit on Centenniel Road in west Salina, where Kathryn picked up stock each day for her job. She worked as a salesperson for L’eggs hosiery company.

Kathryn was 35 years old at the time she vanished, and if alive, she would be 67 today. Back then, she was separated from her husband, and they also had a teenage daughter. Her daughter lived with her at the time.

Foul play is suspected in Kathryn’s disappearance.
